'The 11th Anniversary of Tsinghua Law School is coming and the Mingli Building is immersed in the atmosphere of festivity.

We had a celebration for the 11th anniversary on the evening of April 21. All of the LL.M. students were invited to join the celebration. However, the LL.M. students wanted to do more than just watch the performances so they chose to give a surprise to all the law school students.

The celebration started at 7:00 p.m., and at that time the LL.M. students were still practicing their performance. The celebration was being held in the Great Hall — the symbolic building of Tsinghua University — and we arrived there at 7:30 p.m.

After several Chinese students finished their programs, it was our turn. Two of the LL.M. students, Curt and Edward, stepped onto the stage and sang a self-made Chinese song without music. Others were dancing behind them. Then they bowed and the lights went out. Was that all? Of course not. Suddenly, the music and lights kicked on. Everyone was on stage and our very own LL.M. rapper, Edward, broken into a rap song which he composed from scratch. The song's name was Go Tsinghua and talked about the life in Tsinghua University. The audience jumped out of their seats and sang go Tsinghua, go Tsinghua, go! This performance brought the celebration to a climax.

All the LL.M. students were excited about the performance. They said the performance would be engrained.
